Are you a tourist?

Most of the time when you visit a new place, you are a tourist. You're there to see the highlights, to get a glimpse at all the best parts of the destination and what it has to offer. But what if you started visiting places as a local? Get off the main drag and see what life is truly like in the place you are visiting. Spencer and I make sure we do both when visiting a new place. You want to see the highlights, but what would it be like to live there? Some of our favorite restaurants are off the main strip, where the locals spend their time. We will wander the streets and see what the grocery store is like, or what rentals look like. When you stop racing through life you sometimes get a better glimpse into what truly matters.
